We use a synthetic blend oil which is higher quality than standard oil and lasts you more miles. Some lower quality oils have paraffin in them which is basically a wax. Just like a candle, when wax cools, it gets hard. You don't want to damage your motor by having the sludge build up from the poor-quality oil.
Because oil is what lubricates your motor, you don't want to wait too long to change it. You can damage your entire engine and cost you much more than if you stick to your scheduled oil change.
