Have you ever looked at your gauges and noticed something wasn't working? Maybe you just filled up your gas tank but your gauge says you're still empty. Or maybe you've been driving a 20 year old pickup truck with a speedometer that hasn't been working for years. No one wants to risk driving without knowing how fast you are going.
The car dashboard gauge has evolved a lot over recent years. Now, the gauge all goes through the IPC or Instrument Panel Cluster. It is essentially going through a network of computers that all communicates to each other. You will know that you need to have it check out if the dashboard is blank, and/or the fuel gauge isn't working. If you are not one to rack your mileage, you may be that guy on the side of the road with no gas. It can be a simple fix, or more complex. We will give you a rundown of the exact issues going on and what it will take to fix it. If you are having issues with your gauge, we will need to replace the entire IPC. |
